pcb-common software package provides printed circuit board (pcb) design program - common files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pcb-common
pcb-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pcb-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pcb-common *
You will get with pcb-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
